You can buy these videos on the "Official Hopalong Cassidy" web site, in packs of six videos, called 'HOPALONG CASSIDY SIX SHOOTER COLLECTION'S,' a great buy for the money. Plus, you can see "Hoppy" movies, on 'The Westerns Channel' on cable.

Three Men From Texas 1940 75 minutes

Hoppy meets up with California Carlson, the man who becomes his partner, for the first time. California is one of a gang of crooks whom Hoppy arrests, but joins Hoppy during a gun battle between Hoppy and the rest of the gang. The two men go to California to help Lucky in a squabble over some land and find themselves in a battle against a whole town.
The CAST;
William Boyd, Andy Clyde, Russell Hayden, George Lollier, Morris Ankrum, Morgan Wallace, Thornton Edwards, Esther Estrella, Dick Curtis, Glenn Strange.

Border Vigilantes 1941 63 minutes

In an effort to wipe out a gang of vigilantes who are terrorizing the ranchers and the miners, Hoppy and his Bar 20 boys are strongly suspected of thievery. To thwart the vigilantes, who are led by Henry Logan, Hoppy rigs up a decoy wagonload of silver. He discovers, too late, that California forgot to load the real silver aboard the first wagon, which was diverted to another route. Ingenious trickery eventually resolves everybody's problems, but not before a perilous gunfight takes place.
The Cast;
starring William Boyd, Russell Hayden, Andy Clyde, Frances Gifford, Victor Jory, Morris Ankrum aka Stephen Morris.

"Outlaws of the Dessert" 1941 66 minutes

Intrigue on the sands of Arabia besets Hoppy and his Bar 20 boys, who have gone there to help a horse breeder obtain mounts for the U.S. Army. While doing business with ostensibly friendly Arabs, the American horse breeder is captured by a gang of camel-riding bandits and held for ransom. Hoppy and his boys brave the unknown in an attempt to rescue their friend.

The CAST;
William Boyd, Andy Clyde, George Woolsley, Jean del Val, Jamiel Hassan, Mickey Eissa, George J. Lewis, Albert Morin, Luli Deste, Nina Guilbert, Forrest Stanley, Jean Phillips, Duncan Renaldo, Brad King.

I have no lobby card for this movie but, the picture on the left is a scene from 'Outlaws of the Dessert,' here the army colonel is telling Charles Grant the ranch owner, that he will give him a letter of introduction to the Shiek in Arabia to obtain horses, and Grant is asking Hoppy if, he would come along to get these horses.

Unexpected Guest 1941 61 minutes

A long forgotten relative of California Carlson, Hiram Baxter, passed away, Hoppy and Lucky go with him to claim his share of the estate. They meet the housekeeper, a little odd and who always hear voices. They also meet Ruth Baxter, niece of Hiram whose father Tom had committed suicide; but Ruth suspects murder.

Dead Men Don't Dream 1948 68 minutes

At the Last Chance Inn, mystery surrounds the disappearance of several people as Hoppy tries to discover who is committing the murders.

Will have more revues in the coming days, please, keep checking back.

Lost Canyon

Johnny Travers, one of Hoppy's Bar 20 boys, is falsely accused of a bank robbery by a banker and a crook who will stop at nothing to buy up all the local ranches. Hoppy and California rescue Travers and track the miscreants to their lair. They walk into a hail of bullets and have to resort to an ingenious device to smoke the criminals out.

Twilight on the Trail

Hoppy, California and Johnny pose -- believe it or not -- as three English detectives in order to solve the case of the disappearing cattle. Hoppy suspects the rancher's foreman as the chief rustler. Just as Hoppy is about to close in on his prey, the foreman corroborates his own suspicions that Hoppy and his boys are not really British detectives. The rustlers trap the "detectives" and imprison them in the abandoned mine shaft which they are using to store the stolen cattle. This one is hilarious, you will love it.
The Cast;
staring William Boyd, Andy Clyde, Brad King, Wanda McKay, and Jack Rockwell.
